Meet Brandon…
.Thanks for stopping by my page!! My name is Brandon Hurley. I’m a husband, a father of two young boys, and a federal law enforcement officer with nearly two decades of public service. Before my current role, I spent close to 10 years in the U.S. Coast Guard, serving in drug interdiction, migrant operations, and maritime law enforcement. I’ve boarded smuggling vessels, trained teams across the world, and led many with calm decision making, under pressure, and in high-stakes situations.
In all honesty, nothing has shaped me more than fatherhood. As a parent of a child with autism and while navigating the special education system, I’ve seen the best of what schools can offer… and the gaps we need to close.
That’s why I’m running for the Lacey Township Board of Education.
I’m running as an independent, self-funded, and unaffiliated candidate. I’m not part of any political machine, party, or special interest. I’m accountable to no one except the people of Lacey — our students, teachers, and residents.
I’m stepping up because I believe in service, in showing up for others, and in leading with integrity. Lacey deserves leadership that listens, asks the right questions, and never forgets who it works for.
